Core Aeration in Central Arkansas

Central Arkansas clay packs down hard, which keeps water, air and fertilizer from reaching the roots. Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil out of the lawn so the roots can breathe and grow deeper.

Why aerate

  • Loosens compacted clay soil
  • Helps water soak in instead of running off
  • Makes fertilizer and weed control work better
  • Builds a thicker lawn that crowds out weeds

When we aerate

Bermuda and zoysia lawns are best aerated in late spring and early summer while they’re actively growing. Fescue lawns are best aerated in the fall. Core aeration is included in our Elite program or can be booked on its own.
